My First Fishing

I remember my first fishing trip. At first, I visited the coast walking the dog. With I took a simple rod with me. On the way Bim and I went into spruce forest, where I removed by knife the bark from the trees withered. My match-box was filled with a variety of grubs, caterpillars, beetles as a result. The fish refused from something, but grabbed eagerly some bait. Next walks I have collected only bait that was bite.

I pulled per hour some more than others for a whole day. But it was not only because of tasty larvae. Of course, there were some men, who sailed on the pontoon rafts in the middle of a huge pond. They brought a lot of fish. But at that time I had not enough experience for such fishing. Bim prevented fishing very much. He ran along the bank and stole different things. Anglers complained loudly initially, and then they accustomed and become to hiding their things, and tried to entertain the dog. But sometimes Bim still managed to stole anything. Then the fisherman raced for a dog along the shore and it was very amused.

Later, going to the pond for a whole day, I did not take my dog.

A year later I bought a nice boat on a pontoon boat sale. I was very happy, because fishing has become my favorite pastime! In addition to the boat I bought a lot of accessories for fishing. I use a float rod 5 m length for fishing. I use a 0.25 mm scaffold for the main gear. Hooks must be chrome, size 4. They are needed to catch the most common fish in our waters. Also, I use 2 leger rig (the length is 50 meters long and the main fishing line is 0.35-0.4 mm). You must use a small standard feeder cells and a hook 5-6 for successful leger rig fishing.

You must carry a one-handed spinning for fishing for fish of medium size. I set a small twister of rubber on the hook with a long forearm. They do not sink very much. Of course, pontoon helps so much in this case too.
